We are a reflection of our environments. They shape our mood, productivity, and overall well being. It can weigh us down or lift us up. I approach design with this in mind, focusing on how our spaces affect our everyday and how we genuinely interact with our surroundings.

Hi! Joyleen Jo here. My design journey began when I was just a kid, naturally attuned to the world around me. I was obsessed with combining function and style, driven by my "neurospicy" need to have everything just right. This led me down an exciting path of observation, discovery, and a deep appreciation for the often overlooked beauty that exists all around us.

With an interior design degree and over ten years of industry experience, I've gained valuable insight working with construction companies and design firms, understanding both the art and science of building. With a desire to learn all aspects of the trade, I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty. I revel in the opportunity to manage a team in the field or simply work in my shop with some good tunes, tinkering on a personal project or crafting one-of-a kind pieces for clients. 

 

While trends come and go, I prefer to shape space with longevity in mind, where timeless design meets practical living. My passion to preserve history, especially my love for Mid-Century Modern, inspires me to incorporate vintage pieces into my work. Well-loved furniture or decor brings warmth, character, and a unique story to any space. I’m committed to sustainable practices, creating designs that are not only stylish but built to stand the test of time. Whether you're beginning anew or building on legacy - let’s make some history together.
